WELCOME

Ahhhhh, back to the blogosphere…..After taking an extended vacation of like over 2 ½ years it was time to re-create Podge’s Perfect Perception (PPP). For a little history lesson; I created PPP many years ago as a place to write and discuss the many thoughts in my mind. It originated as a place to give my thoughts and opinions way before the creation of Facebook, Myspace etc…

The fun thing about PPP was more often than not if ruffled feathers and there wasn’t a darn thing anyone could do about it. On more than one occasion I was questioned about post I made either because someone disagreed or they simply got pissed off. Either way, I didn’t really care as PPP is my own virtual land. Many will remember the discussions about the “FartandWholler” Fire Department. The new PPP blog has some new features such as photos, polls, current events and some YouTube stuff. And I hope to have some guest bloggers write some pieces in the future. So if you’re interested let me know..

So, let’s just use this entry as a catch up on the family. Jamie my wonderful bride is still working and raising both me and the girls. How she does it I’m not real sure. We just celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary with a nice trip to the Smokies. We now have a 21 ft Party Barge Pontoon and still live at the lake during the summer. Both girls are still very active in Sports with Brooke playing indoor arena soccer and Taylor playing basketball with Brooke @ Highview/Okolona Sports.
As for me, well it’s the pretty much the same. I have finished my Associates Degree in Fire Science and I’m working very slowly on my Bachelor’s degree. Still driving the red fire truck @ St. Matthews every third day and hoping for some part time employment in the EMS field soon. Dad is doing well along with Cheryl and as for the rest of the family I assume they are doing well as my phone hasn’t rung.
The last email list I had for PPP before my long break was more than 200 names. This time I will be announcing new blogs through my Facebook and I encourage you to bookmark this site and check often for updates..
